Crystal Peake Publisher

Who are we?

Crystal Peake is a small, independent book publisher in Weston-super-Mare. Our focus is on finding the best, most unique children and young adult fiction pieces and bringing them to the attention of the world.

We believe you should not limit yourself to the world you know, but open to the world you imagine. This is something which we at Crystal Peake take very seriously, and therefore, give opportunities to authors who have an exceptional story to tell.

Kevin Peake was born in London in 1991. His love of writing started when he was young. Whilst writing, Kevin loves to escape into his fantasy world where anything can happen. After he finished college, he went on to pursue his writing career. His debut novel Tridea’s Children was originally self-published in 2012. It was then republished under Kevin’s newly-founded publishing company, Crystal Peake Publisher, in 2015. Since then, he has focused his career goals on discovering the best possible stories the world has to offer, and preparing them for publication under Crystal Peake. Kevin is heading towards his master's degree in Creative Writing.

Nicola Peake was born in Blackpool in 1992. Her passion for books started from a very young age. As a child, she would frequently hide books under her pillow and read with a torch when she was supposed to be going to sleep. Her favourite genres are supernatural and dystopian.

Leigh-Ann Hewer is a Welsh writer currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in England. She has always had a passion for books and the written word and was excited to join the Crystal Peake team when she heard about the great opportunities they are supplying young writers. Though her favourite genre is offering young adult, she reads widely and enjoys falling into fantasy worlds. With experience in both novel writing and freelance journalism, as well as running her own online blog, Leigh-Ann enjoys connecting with other readers and writers through social media and loves developing communities online. With dreams to explore a variety of areas in the publishing world, Leigh-Ann is an enthusiastic member of the team and is always thinking about ways to improve her craft and reach more passionate writers and readers like herself.
